This is something that you will rarely see from this website or me personally, a rock band endorsement. Abandon Kansas has something that few bands have, the ability to keep me interested both live and on my iPod. I guess their genre is pop/indie/rock, but that doesn't matter. I first discovered the band from Wichita, KS when they played live at Club Retro in Orangevale, CA. I was instantly hooked. The song Make Believe was the first amazing song they played and the single off their new album We're All Going Somewhere dropping Sept. 8th on Gotee Records. Their lead singer Jeremy Spring had a mustache & a mullet and the entire band wore crazy skinny jeans with the music running through their veins. They had a great live set and when they return to Club Retro on Sept. 3 I will be there to see them. The best part was after the show, when I had like a 15 minute conversation with Nick Partick who plays bass. After speaking to all the band members, I got the vibe that they were totally approachable and seemed like you could hang out with them anytime, you know what I'm saying? Anyways, you should definitely go purchase this on iTunes, but this is better than not listening to them at all.

Will, according to Big Sean, not be dropping tonight at 9 pm (EST) like it was intended. I am not surprised, for a little birdie (Sona Doshi) informed me yesterday that Def Jam wouldn't be releasing it today. As a devoted fan, I am disappointed to say the least, but as a rapper myself I understand how he must be feeling and we can only hope it comes out next week. Also, their will be a new Big Sean mixtape dropping before the album! It's said to be only a small mixtape, around 10 songs, but it's something nonetheless. Stay tuned.

Update: Big Sean gave a preview of Get'cha Some on his Kyte account. It's very well done. Mostly green screen. It's Supa Dupa!

Well, the wait is over: After weeks of speculation, Drake has chosen to go with the home team and sign with Lil Wayne’s Young Money Records, according to a source close to the situation. The deal breaks down as a joint venture between Young Money and Cash Money, with Universal Republic distributing. Drake’s management was adamant that he should be viewed as an independent artist, although Universal will distribute the project.

“Today is a definitely a comfortable day for me, having my team now that’s been in place for a couple of years. It’s just a great day,” Drake said. “It’s something new, but it feels familiar.”

Drizzy is excited about having a corporate push to help with the momentum he’s gained independently.

“Independent is a funny term,” he told MTV News on the set of his video for “Best I Ever Had.” “I can go independent, but you need distribution, period. You need somebody to distribute your record and you need that army that a label has to really push the record.”

I told him I was an aspiring rapper, but was unable to give a freestyle, I guess you could blame it on the al-al-al-al-alcohol. Sorry guys, I know I have barely been posting anything recently, like there's a high amount of people who view my site anyways lol, I try for the few that have stumbled upon or care about my site and my unheard music. But my mixtape WILL drop sometime this summer when I will have an amplitude of time to record a plethora of songs and consistently put them out at Weezy's status. I plan on debuting my first two songs next week that will be on an EP that's name is still in the works, but will be a prequel to my mixtape, A Tell-Tale Heart. This EP will be released in the month of June or early July, maybe July 4th? A baby New-New is on the way. TheYBF.com has learned that actress Lauren London is indeed 5 months pregnant! This time it’s not just another empty rumor. And that’s the reason we haven’t seen her out and about in the last 3 months. She actually made one appearance since February and it was at the Next Day Air premiere last week. But interestingly, all her pictures were only taken from the bust and up.

Back in February, YBF caught up with Lauren and asked her about the pregnancy rumors that were swirling back then–and of course she denied it. But our source–who’s actually a Hollywood celebrity themselves–slipped up in a recent convo with YBF and spilled the beans. As for the father of Lauren’s baby–we’re told she confirmed it’s Lil Wayne! Yes, we’re serious.

We got further confirmation of Lauren’s pregnancy from a celeb’s manager. Apparently said manager received a movie role for his client after it was first offered to Lauren. When the manager asked why Lauren wouldn’t take the role, the manager was made aware of Lauren’s pregnancy status. We’re told Lauren’s taking time off from her career as her current conditions aren’t “favorable” right now.

Because the photo has generated considerable confusion among your readers and Louis Vuitton customers among others, we feel it is important to clarify several points.

The first is that the sunglasses Mr. Ross is wearing were not made by Louis Vuitton, and in fact, are counterfeit. Louis Vuitton did not grant permission to Mr. Ross or to whoever did make the sunglasses to use our trademarks.
