Lil' Wayne Helps Boost Jay Sean Career
For anyone who wants to hit it big, a easy way to do it is getting the hip hop superstar Lil Wayne on your single and Jay Sean has done exactly that. “My first single to hit the United States is called ‘Down,’ and it features Lil Wayne,” Sean says. Although he’s been an active artist in overseas for six years, he put his 2nd album out in Europe and Asia last year which got him on the charts between people like Ne-Yo and Mariah Carey.
Slim, CEO of Cash Money Records, finally got a glimpse at Sean. “He looked at that and went, ‘Ten million views and this kid is not in America?’ ” Sean said. “For him I think he felt, ‘I want to help this kid, and he needs our engine, that is Cash Money Records, to take him to the next level.’ ”
Later Sean was signed to the label and “I’m in Miami at the Hit Factory; it’s 2 o’clock in the morning; outside, Timbaland has just pulled up next to Scott Storch,” Sean said, describing the setting where he recorded his new album, set for release this summer. “And now Lil Wayne has just walked through the door and gone, ‘Wassap, Jay.’ It was really bizarre.”
So how did Sean get Lil Wayne on his song? Sean said he recorded “Down” in an hour and a half, but his new bosses decided there was something missing. “Slim called me up and was like, ‘Yo, man, there’s something wrong on the second verse that just doesn’t sound right,’ ” Sean recalled. “I was like, ‘Really? What?’ He played the song. All of a sudden I heard Wayne’s Auto-Tune stuff, and I’m like, ‘OK. What’s going on? Right! That’s Lil Wayne on my song right now!’ That day was brilliant.”

Lil' Wayne's Playboy Interview: Talks About Everything To Do With Sex And His Experiences. Must Read!
Playboy wanted to know Lil Wayne’s thoughts about “getting busy” so we tracked down the 25-year-old New Orleans native for the Dirty Dozen. Wayne revealed his sexual motivation for producing a hot track in the studio, “how-to” advice on securing the latex and how he’s been a playa since his childhood days playing board games.
Click below to read Lil Wayne’s interview from the latest issue of Playboy:
1. How old were you when you lost your virginity and what were the circumstances?
WAYNE: I was 11 and the girl was 13. She had every board game you could imagine. I liked board games. We was playing Win Lose or Draw and on the board she wrote, “+!@#$ me.” Now I was 11, and I didn’t even know it meant “intercourse.” I just knew it was a cuss word, so I was like, “Why is she cussing herself out?” She said, “Do you want to play ‘Press Your Luck’? Well, the game is in my closet.” She had a walk-in closet, so she said, “Go get it, it’s right to the right….” When I walk to the closet she came in and cut the lights off and took off my pants, and I remember my+!@#$was cold up against the wall. I was like, “What the hell!?” When I tried to push her off me, I felt that she was naked also, so I just stepped back and let her do what she do.
2. Are you good in bed?
WAYNE: I would say what makes me good in bed is that I am not aiming to be good. I am not expecting the chick to be like, “Oh, he was good.” I aim to please and if you do that every single time, I think you’re overall good, period. You don’t have to try and ram it or let me beat it up.
3. What’s the most memorable sexual experience you’ve ever had?
WAYNE: The most memorable was this unknown woman, because I never even asked for her name or number. I was getting off a plane and she was getting off from work and I looked at her and said, “You better stop playing with me.” She was like, “I am not playing.” She followed me into the men’s bathroom and we had sex in the stall and that was kind of cool and we didn’t get no numbers, no contacts. She went left; I went right when we got out the bathroom.
4. What celebrity would you most like to have sex with?
WAYNE: I’d probably love to have sex with…man, I think she’s dead already. I’d probably want somebody like Marilyn Monroe — somebody that’s been with the president or something. If I had Marilyn Monroe, I would do whatever she asks and whatever she’s never had done to her. And I swear I’d do it good!
5. Ever had sex in an airplane?
WAYNE: It was in my plane, so I could do whatever I want. We could take off everything because the pilot’s got the door closed. I’ve never had sex on a public plane but I’ve gotten a lot of head. I asked a stewardess how you could pull it off and she told me. You just gotta make sure you got the last two seats of the plane because stewardesses don’t want to walk back there. You just fake like you’re asleep and when they see that you’re asleep they won’t keep walking back there to check. Also people don’t like to use the back bathroom. They like to use the one in the front, so that’s how you do it.
6. Ever had a threesome?
WAYNE: I think the most I’ve done before is five. I don’t do groupies. I am not the groupie type. I am 25 years of age right now and the president and CEO of my own company. Dealing with a groupie was back when I was 15 years of age and when I dropped my first solo album. When I am doing five, it’s usually two that’s used to me and we’ve done this before. They know how to go out and get two or three more girls. They make the other girls’ first time feel better—because that’s a whole hump they gotta get over—because they ain’t worried about you.
7. What’s the most orgasms you’ve ever had in one 24-hour period?
WAYNE: Ooooh, +!@#$! I’ve been “locked up” with this one chick and when I say “locked up,” I mean locked in a room and she made you go, man! So I probably done it like 10 or six times in 24 hours. That’s one of those days you just stay in the room with the robe on and slippers, no boxers or nothing.
8. What’s your favorite part of the female anatomy?
WAYNE: The eyes. The eyes are the window of the soul. You look into a woman’s eyes—especially in that moment of having sex or making love—and you can see the truth. You can see if she liked it. That gives you more assurance than a scream, than her clutching you and scratching your back. You look into her eyes and see that she can’t control the bliss that you’re putting on her. I love that. That’s better than a +!@#$ telling me she’s coming!
9. Have you ever used drugs to enhance your sexual experience?
WAYNE: Umm, “some say the ex makes the sex spectacular….” That’s my answer to that. When a woman says, “Can’t we get something?” or “Gimme something to drink?” I say, “I don’t want you to be high because tomorrow you’re not gonna know that it felt that great. You kinda negated some of that by being intoxicated.” So I always tell the woman I am the ultimate high. I am the drug.
10. Have you ever recorded a song while having sex?
WAYNE: I’ve gotten head before while I was doing it, but now that I can sing, I could really pull one off now. It was on a mix-tape or something and it was called “Your Baby Blue.” My concentration was terrible. I never took so long on a song, boy! It was a lot of takes. Some of them was on purpose of course—I was messing up on purpose so she could stay down more!
11. Do you know how many women you have slept with in your life?
WAYNE: You know something real funny, I am not gonna tell you the answer to that. But I promise to God when I tell ya—I’ve never lost count. I will never tell anyone the count, but I never lost count and that’s on my daddy’s soul. I got it documented and it’s my secret. It’s just in my head. I remember it like music to me. I’ve been doing it to someday say that I’ve been with this many women and I have nothing, no disease. I just want to show that you can have that much sex and be able to protect yourself that damn much.
12. How cautious are you when it comes to having sex?
WAYNE: I have to be more cautious now. Let me tell you the trick to that. What you do is stop ramming them hos and make love to that +!@#$! Make that +!@#$ love you and that rubber ain’t going nowhere. That rubber will be right there where you started off with if you make love to that +!@#$. That’s when a+!@#$ +!@#$ up, when you trying to do too much. A+!@#$ like me, I am gonna make the +!@#$ so wet that there’s no such thing as popping or slipping off. Only problem I am gonna have is keep slipping it in.

Kanye West-South Park Gay Fish Package
Kanye's Response:
SOUTH PARK MURDERED ME LAST NIGHT AND IT’S PRETTY FUNNY. IT HURTS MY FEELINGS BUT WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM SOUTH PARK! I ACTUALLY HAVE BEEN WORKING ON MY EGO THOUGH. HAVING THE CRAZY EGO IS PLAYED OUT AT THIS POINT IN MY LIFE AND CAREER. I USE TO USE IT TO BUILD UP MY ESTEEM WHEN NOBODY BELIEVED IN ME. NOW THAT PEOPLE DO BELIEVE AND SUPPORT MY MUSIC AND PRODUCTS THE BEST RESPONSE IS THANK YOU INSTEAD OF “I TOLD YOU SO!!!” IT’S COOL TO TALK SHIT WHEN YOU’RE RAPPING BUT NOT IN REAL LIFE. WHEN YOU MEET LITTLE WAYNE IN PERSON HE’S THE NICEST GUY FOR EXAMPLE. I JUST WANNA BE A DOPER PERSON WHICH STARTS WITH ME NOT ALWAYS TELLING PEOPLE HOW DOPE I THINK I AM. I NEED TO JUST GET PAST MYSELF. DROP THE BRAVADO AND JUST MAKE DOPE PRODUCT. EVERYTHING IS NOT THAT SERIOUS. AS LONG AS PEOPLE THINK I ACT LIKE A BITCH THIS TYPE OF SHIT WILL HAPPEN TO ME. I GOT A LONG ROAD AHEAD OF ME TO MAKE PEOPLE BELIEVE I’M NOT ACTUALLY A HUGE DOUCHE BUT I’M UP FOR THE CHALLENGE. I’M SURE THE WRITERS AT SOUTH PARK ARE REALLY NICE PEOPLE IN REAL LIFE. THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO DRAW MY CREW. THAT WAS PRETTY FUNNY ALSO!! I’M SURE THERE’S GRAMMATICAL ERRORS IN THIS… THAT’S HOW YOU KNOW IT’S ME!

Mixtape DJ's React to Lil' Wayne Lawsuit
“Personally I feel sad that Lil Wayne would be suing the DJs. We are simply the people that helps break your music when radio won’t play the records that built the hype and energy to get you to the level you are at. I think you can’t really do anything to Wayne because he is established and the fans are too much into him to not buy his music. I feel hit him when it hurts and don’t support his new Young Money artists that are coming out.”
- Superstar Jay
“I’m not surprised at all that Cash Money Records is suing BCD Music Group for distributing Lil Wayne mixtapes. What surprises me is the fact that DJ Drama and his company are the main defendants named in the lawsuit. Especially after Drama was instrumental in helping Lil Wayne clear his name and gain some credibility back amongst the DJ community after his first act of disrespect towards mixtape DJs. There’s nothing confusing or vague about this lawsuit though. The court papers are clear. I bet Lil Wayne is going to be on Drama’s radio show soon saying ‘I didn’t mean to sue Drama. I meant to sue some other niggas’.”
- DJ Chuck T
“I think it’s fucking nuts suing DJs because DJs made Wayne hot! All they did was to do their job and the mixtapes were only for promotional use. DJs made Wayne hot on the streets! All that damn syrup is going to Wayne’s fucking head and that’s why he is doing Rock music.”
- DJ Woogie (Shadyville, G-Unit)
“This is a sad day for mixtape DJs. But we all knew this day was coming. I have been involved with mixtapes since they were actually ‘cassette tapes.’ I’ve dropped close to 200 mixes, and can personally speak on being charged after having my record store raided for mix CDs. The problem exists when we as DJs compete on the same level of that of major labels, meaning if we get bar codes and sound scan, it’s a problem. As long as we pop the trunk and sell hand to hand it’s good but as soon as a classic like DJ Drama’s Trap Or Die or Dedication sits on the shelf next to a project the label is taking losses on and out sells it, it’s a problem!”

DJ Drama vs. Lil' Wayne Issue Clarified
An e-mail blast sent to members of the media and music-industry insiders on Thursday (April 2) by Makin Moves Entertainment revealed court documents were filed in New York District Court summoning the company, as well as DJ Drama, to answer to charges of selling Lil Wayne’s music illegally. According to the documents, the lawsuit was filed February 18 of this year.
The information was surprising to many, considering Wayne and Drama collaborated recently on Dedication 3, the third installment of their popular mixtape series that helped catapult the rapper to superstar status.
Candace Carponter, an attorney representing Cash Money Records, confirmed to MTV News the authenticity of the documents. Carponter clarified that the lawsuit — stemming from an ongoing case against BCD Music Group, an independent distribution company based in Texas — has not been pushed by Lil Wayne directly, but by his recording home. Lil Wayne created a rift with many mixtape DJs last year when he lashed out at them during the release of his most recent album, Tha Carter III. The rapper levied claims against a number of DJs who he felt were profiting illegally off of his work. He later cleared up his remarks on DJ Drama’s radio show, of all places, singling out the Empire, the DJ who had released a number of Da Drought Is Over mixtapes featuring Wayne.
During the initial legal proceedings, Carponter explained BCD provided the court with documents that allege the company signed contracts with Drama and Makin Moves Entertaintment for rights to sell projects that included DJ Drama’s Wayne collaboration Dedication 2.
Carponter acknowledged the initial collaboration of putting together the mixtapes was done with consent, however, selling the projects in retail outlets with Lil Wayne’s image and likeness was an illegal act. The parties, she also noted, did not have rights to strike deals with Wayne’s music.
In an e-mail message to MTV News, Drama stated, “The accusations against me are misplaced.”
“This is not a case of Lil Wayne vs. DJ Drama. Me and Wayne are good,” the DJ wrote. “I am confident that this matter will be resolved quickly without harming the relationships between myself, Wayne and Cash Money Records. However, due to the ongoing nature of this litigation I do not wish to make any further comments.”
According to Carponter, the summons were sent within the past two weeks to the parties, which court documents list as BDC Music Group, Inc; Deep Distribution World Wide, Inc; Tyree C. Simmons; Cinque Productions, Inc; Apphilliates Music Group; Makin Moves Entertainment; and Frank Nino.
“BCD claimed the right to sell the music,” Carponter said, noting the contracts the company said it signed with the parties, including Drama. “So we named them in complaints and they have 30 days to answer the charges, based on when they receive the papers.”
A request for comment from Lil Wayne has not been answered as of press time.
